if there is one thing i absolutely love about Grey’s Anatomy besides the storyline, are those words that Meredith usually say before the end of the episode.
and here are some of the lines which i got and LOVE ;)
life is messy. that’s how we’re made. so you can waste your life drawing lines or you can live your life crossing them. but there are some lines that are way too dangerous sometimes. here’s what i know, if you’re willing to take the chance, the view from the other side is spectacular.
maybe we like the pain. maybe we’re wired that way. because without it, i don’t know, maybe we just wouldn’t feel real. what’s that saying? “why do i keep hitting myself with a hammer?
because it feels so good when i stop.”
the truth is painful. deep down, nobody wants to hear it. sometimes, we tell the truth because the truth is all we have to give. sometimes we tell the truth because we want to hear it out loud so we can hear it ourselves. and sometimes, we tell the truth because we just can’t help ourselves. and sometimes, we tell them, because we owe them.
at least that much.
change - we don’t like it. we FEAR it. but we can’t stop it from coming. we either adopt to change, or we get left behind. it hurts to grow. anybody who tells you it doesn’t, is lying. and sometimes, sometimes change is good. sometimes…
i don’t know why a lot of us hang on to something we are uncertain of.it’s crazy how a lot of us think that having it halfway is better than not having it at all, when in fact, it would hurt twice as much.
you care. then you try not to. you hope. you take risks. you fail. you give whatever you can give, but not all. you hesitate. you perplex yourself. you try to play safe.
but you give in a little bit even though you know there’s a great possibility that anytime, you might be dropped off. then, you realize that playing safe just adds pain, and that the pain of not having it is not as great as the pain of uncertainty.
in the end you’ll realize, you had your share of the most unbelievable thing: a story that has ended but has never even started.
